ST. PAUL — Representatives of the forestry industry in Minnesota want to make sure legislators know the importance of their contributions to the state economy.

Members of the Bemidji Area Forest Affairs Council and colleagues from the Grand Rapids area are at the state Capitol today to lobby for their industry. The Minnesota Forest Industries says forestry employs more than 36,000 people in Minnesota.
