Mojo has been caught. Mojo, the black and white Lab mix that escaped from a transport transfer at the Trail’s Travel Center, was caught on March 21. He is now home with his adopted mother in Georgia.

My wife, Melissa, and I would just like to thank everybody who was involved in the searching, trapping and transporting. We would also like to thank the shelters and rescues that loaned us their live traps to use. We want to give special recognition to a woman by the initials E.G. and her dog, Hula, for the days they spent tracking him. Kim and Joe Ferguson, if it weren’t for you, we’d probably still be looking. The property owners in the area that we caught him, if it weren’t for you allowing us to search your land and set traps, it would have been a lot more difficult, especially Carol Thompson and her family. Carol was giving him scraps to eat, and the kids let us know where they were seeing tracks.

We also want to thank Kindred Hearts Transport Connection and Kirby Grosso for standing by us, and for finishing the transport to Georgia that they started. Thanks to Janice Carter for adopting Mojo and giving him the loving home that he deserves. There were so many people involved in this, that it is impossible for us to thank them all in this space, but please know that you were all a big help.
