A retirement party has been schedule for a woman who has worked at the Freeborn County Courthouse for nearly four decades.

Helen Tukua, a secretary for Freeborn County Court Services, has been on the job for 38 years. Monday is her final day at work.

A celebration of her retirement is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. Friday in the Freeborn Room, which is on the first floor on the west side of the courthouse, 411 S. Broadway.

Freeborn County employees have been notified, but a Freeborn County Court Services worker said the public is invited, too.
