Wild recalls goalie and wing

SAINT PAUL – Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher announced the club has recalled goaltender Matt Hackett from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. The team also activated right wing Cal Clutterbuck from injured reserve and placed goaltender Darcy Kuemper on injured reserve, a press release said.

Hackett joins the Wild for the first time this season after playing in 42 games with Houston, posting a 19-19-3 record, and a .910 save percentage. He celebrated his 23rd birthday and made 24 saves to earn the victory in the Aeros’ 5-1 win in Abbotsford on Saturday. He has started eight consecutive games with the Aeros since Feb. 12, posting a 5-3-0 record, and a .934 save percentage in that span.
