CORWITH, Iowa — The Corwith-Wesley and the LuVerne school boards each decided unanimously Thursday evening to seek a whole-grade sharing agreement with the Algona School District.

The two school boards both met in Corwith, but held separate meetings to take action following a public hearing to discuss sharing options.

The boards decided to seek an agreement with Algona to send the CWL seventh- to 12th-grade students to Algona beginning in the 2015-16 school year.

Together, they have just over 200 students and are too small for reorganization. Corwith-Wesley has 115 students, LuVerne has 86.
