Alice Dolph, 93, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Alice Mae Dolph of Albert Lea will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel. The Rev. Vern Harris will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Shady Oak Cemetery.
Alice died on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at her home in Albert Lea. She was 93 years of age.
Alice was born Dec. 30, 1919, near Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of David and Alice (Foley) Dallenbach. She graduated high school in Iowa and on Oct. 28, 1943, was united in marriage to Marion Dolph at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
She made her home in Freeborn County since 1951 and enjoyed flowers, gardening and caring for her cats.
Alice is survived by her children, Melvin (Julie) Dolph of Albert Lea, Eloise Hunt of Hayward, Don (Pat) Dolph of Lake Mills, Wis., Darwin (Mary) Dolph of Hayward, Leta Dolph of Adams, and Duane Dolph of California; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marion in 2007, brothers and sisters.
