Celebration of life: Mae O’Neal

A celebration of life for Mae O’Neal (Mrs. Harry O’Neal) will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, 301 W. Clark St., Albert Lea. Visitation will be from 2 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mae was born on May 2, 1920. After her marriage to Harry O’Neal she lived in Albert Lea, but due to her husband’s promotion with Wilson & Co. the couple moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1961. She lived in her own home until she died on Nov. 28, 2012.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Frank) Gjersvik of Manchester, Carol (Dennis) Colstrup of Albert Lea, Steve O’Neal of Wasilla, Alaska, Kathy Toms, Kevin (Deb) O’Neal, Rod (Shelley) O’Neal, all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Luanne (Bill) Watts of Los Angeles; grandchildren, Kris (Ross) Dahl, Terry (Darah) Gjersvik, Neal (Lisa) Gjersvik, Bill (Andrea) Gjersvik, Cheryl (Mike) Yauger, Judy (Richard) Hoiseth, Danny Colstrup and friend Christine Bolinger, Tim (Anne) Colstrup, Jennifer (Chad) Gardner, Shannon (Gina) O’Neal, Shane (Rhonda) Toms, Jason (Angie) Toms, Allison (John) Jacobs, Rachel (Roy) Tamayo, Kyle Jacox, Hailey O’Neal, Logan O’Neal and Isaac Watts; and numerous great- and great-great-granchildren.
