ST. PAUL — Gov. Mark Dayton and a trio of federal elected officials planned to go to areas of southern Minnesota where a spring snow and ice storm hit the hardest.
The group planned to make three stops Saturday, starting in Worthington before heading to Luverne and ending in Hills.
Southern Minnesota got the worst of an April snow storm that plowed through the Midwest last week.
An ice storm knocked out power to thousands of people and wet snow fell on top of the thick layer of ice.
Dayton was to be joined by fellow three fellow Democrats: Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken and Rep. Tim Walz.
