DFL elected officials to tout jobs plan

Members of the DFL Party are slated to stop in Albert Lea this weekend.
Albert Lea state Rep. Shannon Savick will be joined by Rep. Tim Mahoney, chairman of the Jobs and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee, and House Majority Leader Erin Murphy to discuss the impact of House DFL jobs and economic development proposals on the Albert Lea area.
The House jobs package is scheduled for a vote on Monday.
The DFL’ers will gather at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Skylight Room of Riverland Community College, 2200 Riverland Drive, Albert Lea.
