Car reported stolen, found

A tan 1996 Buick Park Avenue was reported stolen from a Jefferson Ave. home at 1:24 a.m. today, according to Albert Lea police. The vehicle had reportedly been missing for two days.

The owner later reported that he found it this morning where he left it in a neighbor’s driveway.

 

Man arrested for assault

Albert Lea police arrested Corey Albert Andrews, 21, Maple Island, for second-degree assault Wednesday evening after he allegedly tried running a man over in a Honda near the intersection of William Street and St. Mary Ave. at 12:41 a.m. today. The man was reportedly known to Andrews.
