Scam reported

The Super America just north of Interstate 90 on Minnesota Highway 13 was reportedly scammed out of $50 at 8:29 p.m. Thursday by two older men, according to Albert Lea police. The men reportedly left westbound on Interstate 90 in a black pickup with a topper. No other information was available as of press time.

 

Man arrested for DWI

Albert Lea police arrested Justin Dale Drescher, 25, for driving while intoxicated after he reportedly crashed his car by the bridge near the Brookside boat landing on Richway Drive at 5:52 a.m. Thursday.

 

Window reported broken

A window was reported broken out of a truck at 220 E. Seventh St. at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, according to Albert Lea police.

 

Items reported missing

Property was reported missing from an apartment at 915 Maplehill Drive at 10:28 a.m. Thursday, according to Albert Lea police.

Damage reported

Criminal damage to property was reported at 111 Lake Ave. at 8:58 a.m. Thursday, according to Albert Lea police.
