An Austin man injured Monday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 35 three miles north of the Iowa border remains in serious condition, according to a St. Marys Hospital spokeswoman Tuesday afternoon.

James H. Grunewald, 62, was reportedly riding a 2001 Honda Road Star when he reportedly lost control, entered the median and was thrown from his motorcycle.
