ST. PAUL  — Students protesting Macalester College’s ties to Wells Fargo have ended their sit-in after the college president agreed to a meeting.

The students began their protest Tuesday at the St. Paul college. On Thursday, organizers say the students blocked outside doors to Weyerhaeuser Hall, where the college’s administrative offices are located, and refused to let anyone enter until college President Brian Rosenberg agreed to meet with them.

Rosenberg agreed to meet with the demonstrators about the college’s relationship with Wells Fargo today.
