Sojourners Church will host a seminar with author and speaker Michael Svigel from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday titled “RetroChristianity: How Learning from the Past Equips the Church in the Present and Prepares the Church for the Future.”

In the interactive lecture, Svigel will explain how evangelical churches can benefit from not only an awareness of the biblical, theological and practical dimensions of the faith, but also its long-neglected history.

Svigel is an associate professor of theological studies at Dallas Theological Seminary and is the author of “RetroChristianity: Reclaiming the Forgotten Faith.”
