The captains of next years Albert Lea boys’ hockey team were announced at the Tigers’ postseason banquet at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club March 10. From the left captains are Andrew Thompson, Lucas Peterson and Van Zelenak. All three hockey players will be seniors next year. Zelenak led the Tigers in scoring last season with 13 goals. Thompson and Zelenak tied with a team-high nine assists. Peterson added seven goals and seven assists during the 2012-13 season. Albert Lea is looking to improve on last year’s 10-15-2 overall record. — Submitted
