Veteran Heritage Day at the American Legion in St. Ansgar, Iowa, will be Saturday. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. Spouses and children are welcome. The CLM Polka Band will play. A lunch will be served by Paradise Pizza. Bring your photos and memorabilia to share with others. There will be World War II, Korean War and spouses discussion groups. The master of ceremonies will by 93-year-old World War II women’s Air Force service pilot Liz Strofus of Faribault, the recipient of the Congressional gold medal.
