The theme for this year’s Third of July Parade will be “Red, White and Blue Old Time Traditions,” the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday.

The theme was selected through polls on both the chamber and the Tribune websites, which asked people to choose their favorite theme out of a dozen choices.

Almost 500 votes were received through both sources.
