The Freeborn County Board of Commissioners will accept letters of interest from people who would like to be appointed to the Shell Rock River Watershed district board of managers. The appointment of three managers will begin July 1 for a term ending June 30, 2016. This position requires individuals to be a voting resident of the Shell Rock River Watershed District. Letters of interest outlining qualifications may be sent to the Freeborn County Board of Commissioners, PO Box 1147, Albert Lea, MN, 56007. The appointment will be made at the Board of Commissioners meeting May 21 in the board room, second floor of the Freeborn County Government Center.
