The Albert Lea Soccer Association held a soccer kickoff May 11 at Lakeview Park. The event featured six different stations to practice technique and accuracy. A total of $650 was raised to build a new soccer complex that is planned to be located at Edgewater Park. Over 70 kids participated. An upcoming fundraiser for the soccer complex will be at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds on June 1. — Submitted
