Local students travel abroad

Jasmine Hanson, the daughter of Robert and Laural Hanson of Albert Lea, will study ecology in East Africa this summer.

Alyssa Sager, the daughter of Derek and Julie Sager of Albert Lea, studied ecology in the Bahamas during May term.

 

Scholarship awarded

Eric Redman, a senior at United South Central High School, is the recipient of a $1,000 educational scholarship from AgStar Fund for Rural America, the giving program of AgStar Financial Services.
