Konni and Tim Crowell of Mishawaka, Ind., and Steve and Sonya Olson of Albert Lea, announce the engagement of their children Emily Ann Thomsen and Jordon Don Olson of Conger.

The bride’s grandparents are Lois and Jim Verdoorn of Albert Lea.

The groom’s grandparents are Judy and Larry Olson of Albert Lea, Gary and Marty Edgerton of Arkansas and Sheila Stroup of Missouri.

The bride is employed as a certified nursing assistant at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. She will be studying to be a registered nurse in the fall.

The groom is a service writer at Motor Inn.

A wedding is planned for Sept. 7, 2013, at East Freeborn Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
