Man arrested for violations

Albert Lea police arrested Thomas Eugene Vaale, 29, on a local warrant, violating his conditions of release and fleeing police at 10:15 a.m. Thursday after dispatchers received a call that Vaale allegedly presented a stolen check at Wells Fargo bank, 122 E. Main St., according to reports.

 

Jewelry stolen

Jewelry and money were reported stolen from 510 Ulstad Ave. at 4:13 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
