Caleb Gaudian, the son of Bryce and and Cindy Gaudian, graduated from the United States Coast Guard boot camp on April 26.

Gaudian was one of 10 applicants that were selected from a five-state area to be offered a job with the United States Coast Guard. He received the Marine Corps League Award for being the recruit who demonstrated the highest proficiency in executing the manual of arms. Guadian was assigned to the Coast Guard Cutter Resolute out of St. Petersburg, Fla.
