Ophthalmologist honored

Dr. Leonid Skorin, Jr., ophthalmologist for Mayo Clinic Health System — Albert Lea and Austin was recently honored for having served as president of the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society for the past three years. Skorin joined Mayo Clinic Health System in 2000 as a comprehensive ophthalomologist with an emphasis on cataract, glaucoma and eyelid surgery. He also sees and treats patients with macular degeneration. Skorin is pictured with Dr. Jennifer Johnson, Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society incoming president. -- Submitted
