Beginning Thursday and running through July 26 the Albert Lea Art Center will host an exhibit called Celebrating the Lakes of Freeborn County.

The gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

An open house is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. The guest speaker will be Jerad Stricker, conservation technician from the Shell Rock Watershed District. Stricker will discuss his work with water quality, restoration and habitat projects. The open house and exhibit is free to the public.
