John and Denise Gulbrandson of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their daughter, Candace Jo Gulbrandson, to Rick Wayne Fuzesy, the son of Kirk and Carla Fuzesy of Helena, Mont.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2006 graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a degree in business management. She is employed at Hilton Orlando in Orlando, Fla., as a food and beverage manager.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Malta High School in Malta, Mont., and a 2004 graduate of Carroll College in Helena with a degree in sports management. He is employed at GolfTec in Orlando as a professional golf instructor.

An Aug. 3, 2013, wedding is planned at East Freeborn Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.

A reception will follow at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club
