A gas line was reported hit at 309 High St. at 9:12 a.m. Thursday, according to Albert Lea police.

Albert Lea police Lt. Darren Hanson said area residents were notified of the incident but were not required to evacuate. Alliant Energy crews had the line shut off within 20 minutes.
