Joshua Meyer-Kirsch, 31, Albert Lea

A memorial service for Joshua Meyer-Kirsch, 31, of Albert Lea, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Joshua was born Jan. 10, 1982, in Fairmont. Joshua and his family moved to Albert Lea, where he attended and graduated high school.
Joshua loved many things in life. Joshua was a very proud member of the National Rifle Association. He was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved to hunt, camp and canoe. Joshua was an excellent craftsman. He enjoyed restoring old bicycles as well as making knives and jewelry out of rocks he collected himself. Joshua was a people person. He was very outgoing and enjoyed striking up conversations with anyone. Most of all, Joshua loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Joshua is survived by his father, Timothy Kirsch; mother, Julie (Hanson) Meyer; brothers, Brandon Kirsch of Owatonna and Tyler Meyer of St. Paul; sister, Rochelle; grandparents, Neil Severson of Albert Lea and Faith Kirsch of Albert Lea; nieces and nephews, Alexa, Brooklyn, Peyton and Cooper; special friends, Mark, Gerald, Walter, Cory, Derek and Luke; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Jessica; grandparents, Tom Kirsch, Donald Hanson and Mary Severson; and nephews, Kenden and Hayden.
