Ross W. Dimmel was born on July 19, 1924, in Janesville, and died on June 13, 2013, at the age of 88, in Spokane, Wash., after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Ross is survived by his wife, Elaine Wayne Dimmel; his children, Christy D’Annunzio, Mike Dimmel, Jayne Farr and Stuart Dimmel; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Loren Dimmel and Elmer Dimmel; and sister, Belva Brown.

He is preceded in death by five siblings.

Ross worked in the sales department at Wilson & Co. for 32 years. After retirement he could generally be found on the local golf courses with his friends.

Services will be held in Washington at a later date.
