I was sad to find someone stole my vintage blue bike with a basket. It was at the end of my driveway with a beach bag and towel just for decoration. It had one flat tire so no one rode it home. I suppose someone thought it was valuable, I did. I enjoyed seeing it there with flowers around it.

When we put it there, we pounded two feet of re-bar on each wheel so no one would steal it. I didn’t think that was necessary. I was wrong. When the bike trail went in, my neighbor said there would be theft and vandalism and people said, no, they were wrong. If you stole it, or know who did, I hope you feel guilty. I would like it back.
