1 arrested after reported burglary

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Lynn Allen Jacobson, 48, for fifth-degree drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespassing and possession of burglary tools and theft at 6:37 p.m. Saturday at 16253 760th Ave., Albert Lea, after receiving a report of someone trying to break into a building.

 

Man arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested William Amilcar Musus Alonzo, 20, for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 2:15 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 90 near milepost 165, according to reports.

 

Items reported stolen

An iPod and wallet were reported stolen from the Fountain Lake Park gazebo at 10:28 a.m. Friday, according to police.

 

Sunroof damaged

The sunroof on a vehicle was reported smashed in at 10:51 a.m. Friday at 1016 Garfield Ave. The incident reportedly took place Wednesday.

 

Window damaged

The back window was reported broken out of a car at 2310 Doral Ave. at 8:48 p.m. Friday, according to police.

 

2 cited for shoplifting

A juvenile was reported shoplifting from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 10:31 p.m. Friday, according to police.

Police cited Enedelia De Luna, 52, for shoplifting from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 2:12 p.m. Saturday, according to reports.

 

Man arrested for drugs, violations

Albert Lea police arrested Shawn Casey Tope for fifth-degree drug possession, obstructing the legal process and a Department of Corrections Warrant at 11:23 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Triangle Drive and Wedgemore Drive, according to reports.

 

Tires slashed

Tires were reported slashed on a 1997 Buick Century at 8:34 a.m. Saturday at 1316 Frank Hall Drive, according to police.

 

Man arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested David Thomas Neely, 37, for domestic assault after an alleged incident at 4:11 a.m. Sunday at 1121 Plainview Lane.
