1 arrested for DWI

Hsu Klay was arrested for fourth-degree DWI during a traffic stop at 1:15 a.m. Sunday near Newton Avenue and Pearl Street, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Man cited for DWI

Daniel Paul Burkow, 30, was cited for fourth-degree DWI and transported to Fountain Centers around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Albert Lea police.

 

Woman cited for theft

Krista Jean Lynard, 30, was cited for misdemeanor theft and released after police responded to a theft report at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 12:33 p.m. Sunday, according to reports.

 

Man arrested for burglary

Adam Ly Haas, 21, was arrested for burglary at 627 Water St. at 2:42 a.m. today, according to Albert Lea police.

 

Money reported missing

Money was reported missing at 160 Bridge Ave. The incident was reported to police at 4:17 p.m. Friday.

 

Possible fight reported

Albert Lea police responded to a call of around 15 people fighting at 2301 E. Main St. at 4:24 a.m. Sunday. Dey Chak Wuol, 27, was arrested on a warrant from Wright County.

 

Hit-and-run crash reported

A 2012 Chevy Cruz was reportedly damaged in a hit-and-run crash at 1201 Garfield Ave. The incident was reported to Albert Lea police at 4:27 p.m. Friday.

 

Tires reportedly slashed

Two tires on a PT Cruiser were reported slashed at 303 Court St. The incident was reported to police at 7:43 a.m. Friday.

 

Items reported missing

Items were reported missing and a back door kicked in at 709 Cedar Ave. The incident was reported to police at 10:02 a.m. Sunday.

 

Wallet stolen from kitchen

A wallet was reported stolen from a kitchen at 1022 S. Newton Ave. The incident was reported to police at 8:51 a.m. Friday.
