Firearms safety classes will start Aug. 14 in Albert Lea. The classes run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and take place in the back room of the Albert Lea Moose Club.

The class is open to all boys and girls 12 years old or older. A copy of the child’s birth certificate is requested and a parent or guardian is requested for registration.

The cost of the class is $8.50.
