A 2006 Honda motorcycle ended up in Fountain Lake after its driver, Christopher Michael Westerbur, 33, lost control. The motorcycle was northbound on Lakeview Boulevard around 4:45 p.m. Sunday when it skidded across the roadway and went into the lake. The driver sustained injuries when he broke through some stairs on a dock and landed in the water. He was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea and cited for careless driving, according to Albert Lea police.

 

No one hurt in motorcycle crash

Another crash with involving a motorcycle, this time against a van, was reported to Albert Lea police at 11:48 a.m. Friday near South Washington Avenue and West William Street. Two people, Lisa Marie Rosas, 37, and Mark Anthony Bousman, 24, were reportedly involved. Neither driver requested medical care.
