MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins announced they have optioned outfielders Oswaldo Arcia and Chris Parmelee, along with infielder Eduardo Escobar, to Triple-A Rochester, according to a press release.

All three players will report to Rochester following the Triple-A All-Star break.

The Twins will recall outfielder/catcher Chris Herrmann from Triple-A Rochester and select the contract of infielder Doug Bernier.

This will be Herrmann’s second stint with the Twins this season, having appeared in seven games. He earned a .462 batting average from May 28 to June 13.

Bernier will make his Twins debut, after hitting .295 in 92 games with the Red Wings. He will wear uniform No. 17.
