Applications for assistance with back-to-school supplies will be taken from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at The Salvation Army, 302 Court Street in Albert Lea from Aug. 19 to Aug. 30.

Applicants will need to bring proof of all household income, verification of residency in Freeborn County, proof that their children are registered in Freeborn County schools grades kindergarten through seventh and a parental ID. Backpacks will be distributed the same day to those who qualify.
