The Albert Lea Art Center‘s current exhibit “Celebrating the Lakes of Freeborn County” is extended to Aug. 23. Depicted in paintings, photography and historic memorabilia, the exhibit will highlight the picturesque natural resources that can be enjoyed every day, but may take for granted.

The Albert Lea Art Center is located at 224 S. Broadway. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. The public is invited and the exhibit is free. The gallery is closed on Saturdays during the month of August.

Art on Broadway, the art and gift shop, has extended its hours through Aug. 31 to be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They are temporarily located across the street at Prairie Wind Coffee, 211 S. Broadway. This temporary move allows for our customers and artists to access Art on Broadway from parking lots. The office and galleries still remain at the same site during the Broadway Avenue reconstruction.
