The Children’s Center, 605 James Ave., will host an open house Thursday for its new preschool program.

The open house will run from noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

In addition to the center’s daycare with preschool curriculum, it will host a new preschool program this fall called Preschool Planet.

Preschool Planet will have two classrooms. One will be for children who are age 4 by Sept. 1, and it will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It will cost $150 per month. The second classroom will be for children age 3 or 4 by Sept. 1, and it will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday. It will cost $100 per month.
