Phillip Olson, 25, of Ellendale received no apparent injuries after his 2003 Honda Accord and a 2009 Kia Spectra driven by Dawn Danielson, 51, of Garden City collided at the intersection of County Road 56 and Highway 14 in Blue Earth County. Danielson suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the State Patrol.

The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. Sunday. The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, Gold Cross Ambulance and State Patrol responded.

 

Woman arrested for meth possession

Aubree Kristina Louise Weise, 22, was arrested for fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia at 160 Bridge Ave. at 1:44 p.m. Friday, according to Albert Lea police. David Jonathan Burkhow, 30, was arrested on a local warrant, according to reports.

 

2 men cited near Myrtle

Drey Thomas LyBarger, 20, was cited for illegal consumption, and Charles Douglas Arneson, 21, was cited for open container around 11:45 p.m. Saturday at 204 Main St. in Myrtle, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
