Hattie Kathryn Parker, 93, of Albert Lea, died on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. The Rev. Thomas Niehaus will officiate and burial will be in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery in Wells. Hattie was born Dec. 30, 1919, in Wells, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Schmidt) Pilaczynski. She attended the pink school house through the eighth grade. She married Joseph “Joe” Parker on Dec. 30, 1942, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Easton. They enjoyed going to dances and playing cards. She was a lifetime Catholic and a life member of the Wells VFW.

Hattie is survived by her three children, Delores (Cliff) Redman of Wells, James (Lonna) Parker of Hartland and Marie (David) Ewing of Kissee Mills, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Sandy (Jim) Johnson, Deb (Duane) Lindely, Dawn (Hector) Caballero, Rick (Kim) Redman, Rob Redman, Ron (Denise) Redman, Darin (Becky) Parker, Amy Flattum and Jeremy Hyman; 17 great-grandchildren, Jamie (Jason Hartel) Johnson, Cassie (Dan) Toledo, Jordan Johnson, Dan Lindely, Derek Lindely, Desiree Caballero, Amber Caballero, Jessica (Logan Fendrich) Redman, Joe Redman, Shawn Redman, Abbey Redman, Stephanie Redman, Blake Redman, Jack Redman, Brennan Flattum, Saige Flattum and Mazzie Flattum; and eight great-great-grandchildren, Taybor Conley, Zayian and Jordynn Hartel, Kylie Johnson, Niesa, Anica, Kia and Aleckye Toledo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Angeline; her husband, Joe; two brothers Felix in infancy and Andrew; grandson, Randy Redman; and great-great-grandaughter, Rhyleigh Hartel.
