Albert Lea Tribune columnist and book author Julie Seedorf will be at the Tribune office for a book signing this week.

Seedorf, a Wells resident, will be in the front lobby between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday to sign her book, “Granny Hooks a Crook.” It about a grandmother in a fictional Minnesota community who is an undercover cop with the job of preventing theft in local stores. She foils shoplifters with her spiked umbrella and nimble acting skills.

Anyone is welcome, and her books will be available for sale.
