NEW YORK MILLS — Sheriff’s officials say two men are dead in a shooting in Otter Tail County.

Authorities say it appears a 23-year-old man shot and killed a 20-year-old man and then shot himself near New York Mills Wednesday night.

The younger man died at the scene. The older man was taken by ambulance to Wadena Tri-County Hospital, then airlifted to a St. Cloud hospital where he died.

A 21-year-old woman made the 911 call after shots were fired.
