MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police say a 2-month-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a stray bullet.
The shooting happened about 9 p.m. Thursday.
Police spokeswoman Cyndi Barrington said it appears the child was with his father outside a home on the city’s north side. Barrington said the father reported hearing a bang and then noticing his son had been hit.
The child was in critical condition at Hennepin County Medical Center.
No suspect was in custody and Barrington says a motive was not known.
