NEW LONDON — Authorities in west-central Minnesota say a 2-year-old child was flown to a Twin Cities hospital after being pulled from a pool.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was called to a near-drowning in a pool near New London around 4:15 p.m. Friday.

The child was flown by helicopter to a metro hospital. The child’s condition is unknown.
