The CEO of a physician-owned medical provider in Waterloo, Iowa, will speak next week about the Affordable Care Act, which is commonly called Obamacare.

Gil Irey is the speaker at an informational meeting about the federal law slated for 7 p.m. Sept. 23 at Southwest Middle School. He leads Cedar Valley Medical Specialists. The public forum is sponsored by the Freeborn County Republicans.

Irey spoke in October 2010 at Northbridge Mall about the same law.
