Scrap iron missing

Scrap iron was reported missing from 26536 725th Ave., Albert Lea, at 4:22 p.m. Thursday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Phone line hit

CONGER — A phone line was hit by a construction crew at 6 p.m. Thursday on Freeborn County Road 4, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. The Conger area’s phone lines were affected and were expected to be fixed today.

 

Steps reported stolen

Steel steps were reported stolen from 423 Adams Ave. in Albert Lea at 12:52 p.m. Thursday, according to police. The steps were estimated at $200.

 

Counterfeit money reported at bank

Counterfeit $20 bills were reported at Wells Fargo, 122 E. Main St., at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

 

Playstation reported stolen

A Playstation 3 was reported stolen from a house at 933 Jefferson Ave. at 4:22 p.m. Thursday, according to police. Value was estimated at $200.

 

Man arrested on warrant

Albert Lea police arrested Thor Wayne Hanson, 20, on a Brown County warrant after receiving a report of a hit-and-run crash at 7:22 p.m. Thursday at 616 Fountain St.
