The fall hours at the Albert Lea Transfer Station and Demolition Landfill will begin Oct. 1.

Through Nov. 30, the transfer station and landfill will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

Services available include disposal of household garbage, brush and demolition debris; recycling of electronics, used oil, cardboard, paper, appliances, scrap metal, glass and cans; and yard waste composting.
