House broken into in Alden
ALDEN — Items were reported missing from 67194 200th St., Alden, after someone reportedly broke the kitchen window. The break-in was reported at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
ATV reported stolen
GLENVILLE — A six-wheeled Polaris all-terrain vehicle was reported stolen from 76282 135th St., Glenville, at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Mirror reported damaged
A car mirror was reported damaged while parked at Thorne Crest Retirement Community on Sunday. The report came in to police at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday.
Vehicle window damaged
The back window of a black Chevy Trailblazer was reported broken out at 404 Fountain St. at 10:14 a.m. Tuesday, according to police. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
Counterfeit bill reported
A $100 counterfeit bill was reported at Farmers State Bank, 1452 W. Main St., at 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to police. The bill had reportedly been turned into the Albert Lea Family Y and then turned into the bank.
Window broken out, items stolen
A window was reported broken out of a vehicle parked at the Blazing Star Trail at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday, according to Albert Lea police. A $700 Dell laptop computer and a $50 coach wallet were taken. The theft reportedly took place between 5 and 5:30 p.m.
Assault reported
An assault was reported at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday at 1111 Madison Ave., according to police. No other information was available as of press time.
