Obamacare to be better than said

In answer to Tom Jacobson’s letter on Sept. 5, I have to apologize. It is obvious Fox News gets its information straight from you, Tom.
Everything I have ever read in your letters I have heard on Fox News. I would like to hear from you something that is original before you send it to Fox News or any other far-right institution. I know you have read a lot of original ideas I put in my letters.
My latest was compare what you pay now for family insurance to what you are going to pay under Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act, whichever you choose to call it. It would have been informative if you would have mentioned how much you pay for your insurance now. You say you have been paying this for 30 years. It would have been nice to hear if it was a family plan, how many were in the plan, what the deductibles are, etc. Then the rest of us can compare it against Obamacare.
I said in one of my previous letters that Obamacare has to be cheaper than what is available now because of all the overhead that insurance companies pay to stay in business. This far-right Republican Congress we have right now has done nothing but try to sabotage Obama’s presidency since he got elected. I would like to hear something they have tried to get done other than going against everything Obama has tried to do.
Right now Obama is using reverse psychology on the Republicans and look how many are falling for it. Speaker John Boehner obviously sees through it because he is on Obama’s side for doing something in Syria. Obama hopes that a retaliation will be voted down. He knows that if he ignored the problem in Syria the Republicans would have a field day running him down.
Obama voted against invading Iraq, and when he got elected he brought our troops home. In closing I would like to suggest that everyone should see the movie “The Butler.” It is the best movie I have seen in years. My hero Jane Fonda does an excellent job portraying Nancy Reagan. She did a lot to bring home our troops from Vietnam and saved a lot of lives by doing so.
Tom, you mentioned you spend six hours a day with your Dad. I think this is wonderful. I would like to suggest that if you want to spend some real quality time with him that you turn off Fox News and turn on MSNBC.
