MINNEAPOLIS — About 200 demonstrators opposed to U.S. military action against Syria protested outside U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s Minneapolis office.

Margo Casey, of St. Paul, was among demonstrators picketing Tuesday afternoon. Casey said bombing Syria would be ethically wrong. She said enough people have died and taking action against Bashar Assad could unleash disaster in the Middle East.

Klobuchar was in Duluth Tuesday, but her staff met with demonstrators. In a statement, Klobuchar said she welcomes Minnesotans’ views on Syria. Klobuchar said the current draft of the resolution on Syria is too broad.
